KEYBOARDS…Seriously!!

The most essential part of a computer system is KeyBoard(Yeah we know its CPU…but this article is about KEYBOARD...so we will give a lil exaggerated benefits to it!!!). So,  Keyboard form the basis of all the input devices..from mouse, lightpens to touch generation devices. Since the ages of Early men they were important. Keyboard can be found in prehistoric cave paintings and in recent excavation in Silicon Valley, California.
There are mainly two species of keyboards which are being used by Facebook Addicted Humans or those who use Computers:
1)      Qwerty     and     2)Dvorak
Recently, many new hybrid variants of both of ‘em , like Maltron Keyboard & Microsoft Keyboard , have been developed to prevent the much dreadful disease of software engineer community, The Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Well, most of you know that what a QWERTY is! Still, for general dim witted humans, it’s a type of keyboard used mostly in the world or just browse your keyboard to find the letters QWERTY. Before QWERTY, there were around 51 patents for keyboard model, but our QWERTY emerged a winner and is still being used since 1873. And yeah, the creator of this marvel is, Mr. Scholes(*Should not be confused with fuball player, Paul Scholes).
So, what’s wrong with this QWERTY and what this hack Dvoark is? (Even this dvoark is bit tough to pronounce…and yeah damn uncool..!)
The reason is simple, QWERTY keyboard was designed to make typing slower! SHOCKED?!? Yeah, that’s true; actually, the patented QWERTY keyboard was actually a typewriter in 1870’s. The typewriter should be optimum in speed so the alphabet hitting rods of typewriter should not collide with each other while printing on paper. If two keys near each other were pressed quickly in succession, the bars they controlled sometimes collided or jammed. So QWERTY was deliberately made slower!
Dvorak: An alternative to Qwerty.
So August Dvorak created a keyboard in 1936 to solve the lazy problem of QWERTY. It is a keyboard layout designed to minimise movement, and make typing as easy and painless as possible. The idea behind it is to have the most commonly typed keys under the fingers, and make it as easy as possible to type common words and combinations of letters. To give an impression of just how big a difference this makes, consider that the average Dvorak typist's fingers will travel about one mile in a day of typing. A Qwerty typist's will travel anything from 16 to 20 Kilometer. Try to consider, for a moment, the effect that must have on your fingers.(We are not sure of this fact ‘coz we have plagiarized this part :P)

DVORAK KEYBOARD:
It is a fact that Dvorak keyboards are expensive as they are not produced in bulks. But still you don’t need to rush out and buy Dvorak keyboard. Today computers come with free Dvorak software installed and all you need to do is to switch in Control Panel to Dvorak keyboard. Also if you are quite adamant that you already know Qwerty - if you do not have a need to retrain that's fine, but does the new generation have to use obsolete typing method because once up on a time there was a typewriter with moving arms in it?
Choice is yours…you want to die or use DVORAK ?? ….  : |
Maltron Keyboard:
These keyboards are special type of boards with idea taken from both QWERTY and Dvoark. Here special placements of ENTER and SPACEBAR makes typing easy and comfortable plus the tilted positions of keys make further easy to type. Still they are under research and let’s see what our kids will be using ;) :P.>!

 Microsoft Keyboard ctrl+alt+dlt keyboard:
Microsoft has launched a special all purpose keyboard with consideration to keys which are being used most by the user. This streamline design thus can solve all the problem of your system. Cttrl+alt+dlt can solve all your problems....the hang, restart..counting the most. Delete button can remove all viruses and unwanted downloads. SO get this ASAP, THE only keyboard you need.
